Exploring Metaverse-Based Remote Work
This study explores the impact of metaverse-based remote work on employee experiences. With the rising adoption of remote work around the world, new challenges have emerged, and virtual worlds present a potential solution. This research involves immersive remote work trials conducted at a French SME using Virbela, Teemew, and Frame. It highlights aspects such as communication dynamics, user engagement, and technical challenges. Preliminary findings suggest that immersive remote work can improve communication fluidity and reduce feelings of isolation, although technical issues and visual fatigue remain concerns.
