Analysis of virtual coupling control parameters based on colored Petri net
In the rail transit system, improving transportation efficiency is an eternal topic. Therefore, in this paper a novel approach in train control systems based on the concept called virtual coupling or train convoys. And the virtual coupling scheme is described in this paper. The dynamic model of the virtual coupling and the Petri net model of the control process are established. In order to analyze the influence of each parameter on the minimum tracking distance, the minimum tracking distance is determined, which provides reference and theoretical basis for the design of the control system in the future, and finally the actual subway operation scenario. For example, the tracking distance is calculated under the most unfavorable situation, and the possibility of virtual coupling in the existing subway line is theoretically demonstrated under the premise that the control system meets the requirements.
