Radar Signal Sorting Methods Based on Correlation Analysis
As radar technology advances towards lower detectability, the pulse repetition interval (PRI) of radar signals is evolving from traditional simple patterns to large-scale random jitter forms, posing challenges to electronic reconnaissance. True random jitter PRI is difficult to achieve in practice, so a common approach is to use pseudorandom sequences to modulate fixed PRIs, generating pseudorandom jitter PRIs. Traditional radar signal sorting algorithms perform poorly with pulse sequences exhibiting wide-range PRI jitter. Given the periodic nature of pseudorandom sequences, this paper proposes a radar signal sorting algorithm based on correlation analysis to improve the sorting accuracy of pseudorandom jitter PRI sequences. Finally, extensive experiments on pseudorandom jitter PRI sequence sorting validate the proposed method’s superiority over classical methods.
