Feasibility Study on Full Position Automatic Welding Technology for Low Alloy Pressure Steel Pipe With Pad Groove Structure in Pumped Storage Power Station
Pumped storage power stations have higher energy conversion efficiency and greater peak shaving capacity. They are currently the most mature, economically efficient, flexible, safe, long-lasting, environmentally friendly, and widely used energy storage technology. With the transformation of energy structure, pumped storage power stations have experienced rapid development. This article conducts research on the full position automatic welding technology of low-alloy pressure steel pipes with cushion plates and groove structures for pumped storage power stations. Through the blasting test of pressure steel pipe models, the feasibility of the full position automatic welding technology of the cushion plate groove structure is verified. The use of this technology can improve the welding efficiency and quality of low-alloy pressure steel pipes in pumped storage power stations. Promoting this technology can achieve single-sided welding and double-sided forming inside the pressure steel pipe, reducing the demand for external space of the pressure steel pipe during construction, thereby reducing the excavation section of the water conveyance tunnel and the amount of concrete backfilling work, which is of great significance for energy conservation and reducing project costs.
