A Fast Power Control Strategy of Wind Farms Oriented to Power System Transient Stability
As wind power is increasingly integrated into power systems, the uncertainty and variability of power systems are rising, resulting in the challenge for the safe and stable operation of power systems. Thus, the fast power control capability of wind farms is significant for power system transient stability. The purpose of this paper is to propose a fast power control strategy for wind farms considering the quantification of wind turbine fast power control capability and the wind turbine classification. Case studies utilize a wind farm comprising 22 wind turbines to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
