Research on Optimal Allocation of Energy Storage in Power System with High Proportion of Renewable Energy under Extreme Events
This paper investigates the optimal allocation of energy storage in power system with high proportion of renewable energy under extreme events. In order to solve the optimal configuration problem of energy storage participating in primary frequency regulation of high-proportion new energy system, a control strategy of primary frequency regulation of energy storage based on nonlinear variable <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$K$</tex> coefficient was firstly studied. On the basis of this, an energy storage location and capacity configuration method for high-proportion new energy power system was proposed. This method adopted multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm, energy storage capacity, location and control parameters were taken as decision variables, and the root mean square of system frequency deviation, the vulnerability index of power grid and the net cost of energy storage were taken as optimization objectives to obtain the Pareto solution set. The weight of each objective was obtained by information entropy, and the optimal solution was calculated by the Technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution. Finally, the optimal energy storage configuration scheme of regional power grid is given through simulation analysis of practical examples, and the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed energy storage location and capacity configuration method and control strategy are verified.
