Research on Economic Emission Dispatch in Power Systems Based on Multi-Objective Membrane Search Algorithm

To solve the non-convex, nonlinear, and discontinuous multi-objective optimization problem of the power system economic emission dispatch, which is very challenging, this article proposes a new multi-objective optimization algorithm based on membrane search to solve the power system dispatch considering the considering the prohibited operation zone of the unit. Taking the power system containing 14 units and 40 units as research cases, equation and inequality constraint processing rules were designed, and the constructed multi-objective membrane search was used for dispatch research of the case system. The Pareto Front of emissions and fuel costs for the 14-unit and 40-unit power systems were presented, and the published research results were used for comparison. The results show that the compromise solution recommended in this article produces less emissions at the same fuel cost, which is of great significance to cost reduction and emission reduction in the power sector, and also further verifies the effectiveness of the proposed multi-objective optimization algorithm.
