Optimal Scheduling Strategy for Power Systems Considering Multi Energy Complementarity
With the continuous development of new power system construction, the proportion of new energy has gradually increased, and its randomness and volatility have brought great challenges to the operation of power system. Multi energy complementation is one of the feasible ways to solve the problem of new energy consumption. The core is how to stabilize the intermittency and randomness of new energy power generation such as wind power and photovoltaic power generation through flexible power sources such as hydropower, thermal power, and energy storage. Flexible power sources such as hydropower, thermal power and energy storage in the power grid are complementary to new energy in different time scales. This paper analyzes the optimal dispatching strategy of hydropower resources, introduces a double-layer optimal dispatching framework that considers the medium and long-term power balance and short-term power balance, and establishes a multi time scale coordinated optimal dispatching model of power system. Through the simulation analysis, the power system optimal dispatching strategy considering multi energy complementarity proposed in this paper can not only ensure the supply and demand balance of the system in different time scales, but also improve the economic operation performance of the system.
