Research on Dual Carbon Economic Operation Optimization of PV Gas Combined Power Generation System
In the context of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, the development of the power system needs to accelerate the replacement of clean energy. At the same time, it also needs to optimize the energy structure and promote low-carbon, efficient, and sustainable development. As a transitional method, gas-fired power generation has the advantages of strong peak ramping ability and fast start-up, which plays a positive role in achieving low-carbon transformation. This article discusses the cost of electricity consumption, carbon emission cost, and changes in carbon prices. It studies the PV(photovoltaic) gas combined power generation system and solves it using the FMINCON function in MATLAB. The research results show that the optimized scheduling of PV gas reduces the cost of electricity by 27.6% compared to pure gas, and the cost of carbon emissions is reduced by 45.4%. Meanwhile, as carbon price increases, the carbon emission cost and gas-fired power generation cost of the system correspondingly increase almost linearly. The PV gas power generation system is only economically optimal compared to other combined power generation systems. Further exploration is needed to combine more energy generation methods with gas-fired power generation for joint power generation. This will promote the optimization of various aspects of the system and facilitate the sustained transformation of gas-fired power generation towards low-carbon development.
