Classification of Drones in Disaster Management

The application of drones in disaster management has received significant attention in recent years due to their capability to provide rapid and efficient support in handling various types of disasters. Aerial images, thermal imaging, and air composition data provided by drones significantly contribute to the effective performance of disaster management professionals. This article focuses on the classification and potential applications of drones in different phases of disaster management tasks. During the research, 32 named disasters and their relationship diagrams were analyzed, highlighting the relevance and efficiency of drone operations for various disaster types. The research findings indicate that the use of drones in the periods before, during, and after disasters offers significant advantages.
