Research Status and Prospect of New Power System Point-Wave Measurement Technology
In today's “double-high” power systems, the proliferation of power electronics in power generation, transmission, distribution, and loads puts the power system in a state of rapid change. Synchronous vector measurement techniques (PMU) based on vector synchronization units have gradually demonstrated their limitations, and emerging applications require more accurate and continuous waveform measurements. Point waveform measurement techniques with continuous, time-synchronized sampled values of the signal can more accurately represent the measurement of the underlying voltage and current waveforms. In this context, the article focuses on the development of point-wave measurement (POW) technology.
