Effects of Heat and Moisture Transfer on Stray Current Distribution in Soils with Different Salt Contents
In order to study the variation of stray current in urban rail transit with soil heat and moisture transfer, and analyze the influence of soil moisture content and temperature on stray current density at different depths, an experimental platform for stray current distribution in urban rail transit was built. The temperature and water content of soil at different depths were tested, and the variation of soil temperature and water content at different depths was analyzed. The results showed that the temperature and water content changed significantly in shallow soil. At the same time, the stray current density values at different depths were tested. The results showed that the stray current density decreased with the increase of depth in both single salt and mixed salt soils. The current density values of Cl− containing single salt and mixed salt soils were significantly higher than those of SO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4</inf>2- and CO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf>2- containing soils. The conclusions of the study can provide some theoretical guidance for the safe operation and maintenance management of urban rail transit.
