Researches on Power Consumption Signatures Usage in Characterization of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Devices

Energy is one of the main resource that have to be carefully addressed and reduced by both hardware and software developers. Power consumption can be also a good indicator of both operation mode and health status of a physical device. Power consumption signature of an electronic device is defined as the power consumption response in time to a specific workload or program executed by the device. In this presentation different types of analysis and power signatures applications will be presented.
