Optimal Dispatch of Multi-Energy Generation Systems Considering CSP and Advanced Adiabatic CAES
The supply-demand balance of the power system is gaining prominence as the installed capacity of new energy keeps rising. These problems can be effectively alleviated through flexible and controllable concentrated solar power (CSP) and advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (CAES), which have internal thermal storage devices and can be interconnected to achieve mutual thermal assistance during operation. In this paper, the thermal energy storage (TES) device of CSP is connected to the TES of CAES through a thermal pipeline, and the constraints of the TES considering thermal energy mutual assistance are established to limit the way of energy flow in the TES under the joint operation condition. Finally, the model of the joint system of CSP-CAES is constructed, and the day-ahead dispatching plans are obtained with the objective of minimizing the total operation cost. The results show that this strategy further enhances the new energy consumption based on ensuring the balance between system supply and demand, which verifies the effectiveness of the strategy.
