Research on IoT Application of Power Consumption Information Collection Based on Short Message of BDS
To achieve the construction goal of “full coverage, full collection, and full cost control” of electricity information, addressing the challenges of power data collection and transmission in remote areas is crucial. This paper analyzes the functions and applications of the Beidou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), comparing its advantages with other remote communication methods. It proposes targeted solutions to overcome the difficulties associated with remote communication. The paper details the design of an energy data acquisition and transmission system based on Beidou communication, including a comprehensive overview of the system architecture and protocol format. It also establishes the acquisition terminal transmission system and the master terminal access system, and verifies the system's data acquisition and transmission capabilities. This work provides innovative approaches to resolving various data collection and transmission issues in remote areas.
