Research and Application of Capacitance Compensation Technology in the Stator Iron Loss Test of Large-scale Generators
The generator stator core loss test is an effective method to check the insulation of the stator core. When the insulation of the generator stator core is damaged, an eddy current phenomenon will be formed, which will endanger the normal operation of the unit in serious cases. Based on the research and application of capacitance compensation technology in the stator iron loss test of large generators, this paper focuses on the principle of capacitance compensation technology in the stator iron core loss test and the first use of high-current capacitance compensation technology to the transformation of units in operation for more than 30 years, in order to more accurately evaluate generators. Through practical application, it is found that the capacitance compensation technology can effectively reduce the test current and reduce the test risk. The stator core insulation state provides a new application case.
