Bidding Strategies for Differentiated Energy Blocks in Electricity Market
After the carbon peak and carbon neutrality targets were proposed, China is actively promoting the construction of the new power system. This has led to the emergence of diverse and differentiated new market players. It is urgent to design a new electricity market to satisfy the demands for optimal energy resource allocation in the new power system. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, four types of energy blocks are introduced, and their optimal bidding strategies in energy block-based markets are proposed. First, the mathematical models of the period block, sustaining block, curve block and variable block are established according to their physical characteristics. Next, the decision-making models of these energy block player are established. Then, the multi-player generalized Nash game model in the energy block-based electricity market is established, and the Gauss-Seidel Fixed-Point Iteration method is proposed to solve the game equilibrium. Finally, the numerical simulations are carried out in the IEEE-9 bus system. It shows that the established energy block models are effective and the clearing price of the energy block-based market is more stable.
