Performance Enhancement for Rateless Codes-Aided Hybrid Satellite-Terrestrial Multi-User Networks Using NOMA and IRS With Presence of Multiple Eavesdroppers
This paper proposes a rateless code (RC) aided hybrid satellite-terrestrial relaying (HSTR) multi-user scheme using non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and intelligent reflecting surface (IRS), with the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. In our scheme, a satellite uses NOMA to transmit two RC packets to a terrestrial station that relays the received packets to two ground users, with the help of IRS. Two ground users and the eavesdroppers attempt to sufficiently collect number of RC packets before the transmission ends. This paper measures outage performance and intercept performance of the proposed scheme via analysis and simulations. We also investigate the effect of important parameters on the performance.
