Frequency Regulation of Power System using TID Controller
This work examines the effectiveness of the tilt integral derivative (TID) controller for load frequency control (LFC) in a two-area power system. Several contemporary strategies are used to put into practice a stabilizing controller. A detailed investigation of the LFC issue in a power system with two power generating units as well as the dynamic performance of LFC through the application of optimization techniques has been developed. This paper proposes a TID control mechanism for suppressing oscillation. Recently developed methods are used to determine the appropriate controller parameters. The response of different parameters is obtained with the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
