Massive MIMO Issues and Solutions- An Overview
The development of Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is one of the key advancements for 5G and 6G networks. To simultaneously service a group of users' equipment, the base station contains an immense amount of antennas. An enhanced wireless technique is Massive MIMO, which communicates with several users at once by utilizing thousands of antennas at the base station. Greater data throughput along with higher capacity over conventional MIMO are the advantages of massive MIMO. There are some challenges associated with Massive MIMO. We will go over all the significant challenges that a system with massive MIMO faces, including estimation of channel, pilot contamination, precoding, user scheduling, energy efficiency, and signal identification, along with potential fixes. We also discuss the most recent development in massive MIMO networks for machine learning as well as deep learning.
