Web Service for VR Tours of 360VR Images/Videos Using OpenVSLAM Server

The authors have already proposed a development framework for web-based VR tours, i.e., navigation VR tours of 360VR videos and walkthrough VR tours of 360VR images based on OpenVSLAM(Open Visual SLAM: Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). Using OpenVSLAM, it is possible to generate a map consisting of several time-sequential locations and to extract their corresponding 360VR frame images from a navigation 360VR video. This time, the authors developed a web service for VR tours of 360VR images/videos using OpenVSLAM as a server. This paper explains how OpenVSLAM works as a server.
