Optimizing UAV Swarm-Based Cooperative Transmission Using OTFS Modulation
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are capable of enhancing communication coverage and facilitating critical communication networks through their mobility. Furthermore, the UAV swarms are being deployed across diverse civil and mil-itary applications. This paper is an extension of a work that utilizes orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation in a UAV swarm-based cooperative transmission setup. Specifically, it focuses on the effect of the digital modulation type and the subcarrier spacing on the performance of the above-mentioned scenario. Through simulation, we offer valuable insights into designing effective communication setups, which improve the dependability and performance of UAV swarm communication systems.
