Efficient Directed Controller Synthesis Using Action Priority
Discrete Controller Synthesis is a technology designed to automatically synthesize controllers that ensure safety in predefined environmental conditions. Discrete Controller Syn-thesis generates these controllers from environment models and monitoring models, which are represented by Labeled Transition Systems. A significant challenge arises from the fact that the state space, which models the entire environment, grows exponentially with the number of environment models, leading to a corresponding exponential increase in computational space in Discrete Controller Synthesis approaches that construct the complete model. To address this, Directed Controller Synthesis (DCS) has been developed, utilizing on-the-fly exploration to mitigate the expansive state space issue. However, DCS faces challenges with computation time, which heavily depends on the exploration strategy, and current strategies are potentially inefficient, often resulting in prolonged synthesis times for controllers. Therefore, this study proposes Directed Controller Synthesis Using Action Priority(DSCAP), which improves the exploration efficiency of DCS by incorporating action priority.
