Secure Offloading in NOMA-Backscatter Vehicular Cloudlet Networks

This paper analyzes the joint secrecy and latency performance of a NOMA backscatter communication (BC)-enabled vehicular network with a passive eavesdropper in a vehicular mobile edge computing (VMEC) environment. Two vehicles offload tasks to a vehicular access point with a MEC server using NOMA-BC schemes, while a passive eavesdropper attempts to intercept information. We derive approximate expressions for the joint CDF of the received SINRs and the secrecy successful computation probability (SSCP). The impact of key parameters like transmit power and power allocation is also examined. Monte-Carlo simulations validate the analytical results and provide insights into system performance.
