Enhanced Healthcare Monitoring and Medication Reminders for Elderly Individuals Using Wearable Sensors and Mobile Application

Better healthcare monitoring systems catered to the unique requirements of senior citizens are becoming more and more necessary as the world’s population ages. We describe a new initiative to address this need, which aims to create a system for medication reminders and enhanced healthcare monitoring using wearable sensors and a smartphone application. To continually monitor important physiological parameters, the system makes use of contemporary MCU technology coupled with blood pressure and temperature sensors. The technology identifies abnormalities and notifies carers or healthcare providers, allowing for prompt actions, through sophisticated data analysis. In addition, the mobile application offers real-time access to health data and prescription reminders, making it an easy-to-use interface for senior citizens and the carers who look after them. This project promotes proactive health management, lowers healthcare expenditures, and provides a holistic solution to enhance healthcare outcomes and quality of life for senior citizens.
