Smart Helmet with User Navigation Guidance Support
This research presents a Smart Helmet that directs user navigation to improve safety and convenience. The desire for novel approaches to improve safety and convenience is critical in an increasingly interconnected world. This work proposes an innovative design for a Smart Helmet that includes user navigation guidance. The fundamental goal of this system is to provide users with real-time navigation support while ensuring their safety via modern technology. The Smart Helmet has been equipped with numerous sensors such as GPS and lidar sensors, enabling accurate tracking of the user's motions and orientation. This data is processed when integrated into a microcontroller unit, resulting in precise navigation instructions. The navigation guidance assistance system functions. The core features of the Smart Helmet include a Global Positioning System (GPS) module for accurate location tracking and a navigation system that overlays route information onto the Display. Users can receive turn-by-turn directions and other relevant information without diverting attention from the road. The helmet-mounted camera serves as a computer vision algorithm that can be implemented to enhance safety features, such as obstacle detection and collision warnings. Safety is paramount. The helmet is constructed with impact-resistant materials to meet safety standards and regulations. Theoretically, this can be done by giving users visual and aural cues through a heads-up display (HUD) built into the helmet's visor. To guarantee safety throughout the trip, the system also continually monitors user input and the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the Smart Helmet includes safety elements to ensure the user's well-being during the ride.
