Comparative Analysis of Perovskite, Optical Concentrator, and Conventional Silicon Solar Panels with Robotic Integration for Enhanced STEM Learning
The study compares traditional silicon, silicon with optical concentrators, and novel perovskite solar panels integrated with a data logging system. Perovskite panels, featuring an innovative composition, are fabricated in-house. Additionally, the impact of partial shading on conventional silicon panels is examined, and a machine learning model predicts power outputs under various shading scenarios. Furthermore, the integration of a solar-powered robotic arm with data logging capabilities offers a sustainable and precise solution for performing reactions in chemistry labs. This application enhances safety, efficiency, and STEM learning outcomes by combining renewable energy technology with hands-on laboratory experiences.
