Mathematical Model, Algorithm and Computer Code for Analyzing Thin Dielectric Plate Scatterers based on Surface Equivalent Equation and Method of Moments

Electromagnetic analysis of dielectric structures is of interest to many researchers due to the wide application of new dielectric and composite materials. Therefore, in this paper, we have carried out a comprehensive analysis of thin dielectric plate structure by the method of moments with pulse basis functions based on the surface equivalent theory with approximate integral solution. We developed a mathematical model based on this approach, and developed an algorithm and computer code based on it for modeling thin dielectric plate structure excited by a TM plane wave. The obtained results were compared with previously published ones calculated using the method of moments with pulse basis functions based on the surface equivalent theory with direct integral solution. The good agreement of the results demonstrated the effectiveness of the mathematical model and the code based on it.
