A Three Phase 17-Level Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverter With Load Induction Motor
This paper details the design, simulation, and analysis of a three-phase 17-level cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter (CHBMLI) for induction motor applications, Simulated using PLECS software. The study examines key parameters such as total harmonic distortion (THD), voltage regulation, and efficiency under load conditions. The inverter is controlled using the Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) technique. Results indicate that the proposed that,Three phase 17-level CHBMLI achieves an average THD of 5%, ensuring smooth motor operation. This research advances multilevel inverter technology in industrial settings, particularly in improving motor drive performance and energy efficiency.
