Smart Online Examination Cheat detection using Gaze Analysis

Online exams have become popular and are adapted by many companies for initial shortlisting of the students, but the test-takers are manipulating the cheating detector software, which can detect only objects like smartphones and multiple persons in a frame based on head movement by moving only their eyes without moving the head. In this paper, we address this challenge by providing a simple method to detect and prevent such misleading behaviors: eye tracking technology. We developed an application that helps to get the user’s screen boundaries by using eye coordinates, and this application is not limited only to people who have proper eyes; it also works for squinted eyes, which is the limitation of the present technology that tries to detect cheating.
