Review on Basic Solutions for Far-Field Wireless Power Transfer

Wireless power transfer (WPT) in the far-field offers significant advantages, including convenience and the ability to power multiple devices simultaneously. However, challenges such as efficiency, safety, and cost remain. Key applications include powering IoT devices, wearable electronics, and medical implants. Ongoing research aims to enhance performance and expand practical uses. Here we present a short review on basic principle and solutions for far-field WPT.
