Enhancing Parking Efficiency and Mobility with IR-based Smart Parking Management System
Urban mobility is severely hampered by the growing trend of urbanization and the population growth of vehicles, especially regarding parking spaces in crowded, busy areas. The suggested system uses cutting-edge technology like wireless communication, data analytics, and the Internet of Things to improve parking space utilization. With a more user-friendly user interface, this strategy seeks to improve urban transportation and reduce traffic. The "Smart Parking Management System" that is being suggested uses sensor nodes that are placed strategically across parking lots to collect data in real-time about parking spaces that are available and those that are occupied. Through communication between these sensors and a microcontroller, a network is created that continuously checks and updates the status of parking spaces. Users can access this information through a Telegram bot to remotely identify and reserve available parking spaces. The system creates a sustainable and user-friendly urban environment by streamlining traffic and allocating parking spaces optimally.
