Evaluation of Aviation Equipment Support Capability Based on Factor Analysis Method
Aviation equipment maintenance support indexes are not only important parameters for PHM (prognostic and health management) analysis, but also important parameters to measure the support ability of aviation equipment. Aviation equipment support capability involves a large number of indexes (variables), which is a difficult problem for its monitoring and evaluation. This paper presents an evaluation method of aviation equipment support capability based on factor analysis model. This method extracts the independent influence factors through the dimension reduction method of factor analysis, and effectively reduces the difficulty of analyzing the influence factors of aviation equipment support capability evaluation under the premise of retaining most of the information of the original data. Thus, the information overlap between samples is eliminated and the problem is simplified. The example shows that the method can effectively reduce the dimension of variables and the workload in the evaluation process.
