A New MRACS Design Scheme for High-Order System Following Low-Order Model by Using State Variables Taking from the Model
Based on Popov hyperstability, a new Model Reference Adaptive Control System (MRACS) design scheme for high-order system following low-order model using state variables taking from the model is proposed in this paper. Filters are used to reduce the order and the state variables are taken from the reference model. This scheme solves the problem of states of the plant can't be measured and improves anti-interference ability of the system. An adjustable linear compensator is introduced to remove the assumption of strictly positive real in Popov hyperstability theory. The simulation results show that the controlled plant can follow the output of the reference model well.
