Controlling Mouse Cursor through Eye Movement
Within the past few years, there have been significant advancements in the computer and human interaction. Earlier, keyboard and mouse were the primary input method, then touch screen came in the existence and now many other technologies are being used to provide input to the computer. In the advancement of technological process this research paper presents an iris movement-based mouse cursor control systems that allows users to control the computer cursor using their eye movements. The proposed system aims to improve computer interaction by integrating advanced computer vision and gaze detection techniques especially for those who face difficulties with traditional input methods due to physical disabilities. The objective is to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of iris movement-based cursor control system. The implementation of this system has several key stages, including video processing, iris tracking, cursor control, and user interaction. The proposed system stimulates mouse movement and click events based on eye movement and gaze patterns, and provides an environment for interaction. This proposed system is tested on various parameters like increased frame rate, low lighting, background effects, etc. The performance of the system is measured in terms of correct position trials and it is $\mathbf{9 2 \%}$ for the proposed system.
