Solar Grass Cutter Technology based Internet of Things
This paper introduces a solar-powered grass cutter employing Internet of Things (IoT) technology for remote control through the Blynk application. The system integrates components like Arduino UNO, solar panel, DC motor, motor driver, rechargeable batteries, and a WiFi module. Programmed via Arduino IDE, the grass cutter features functions such as forward, backward, right, left, on, off, and stop. Additionally, a hand gesture-controlled version is explored, enabling obstacle-free operation from any direction. The system utilizes batteries for motor and cutter functions, charged by solar panels, eliminating the need for extra batteries. The IoT-based approach enables control through a smartphone, promoting efficiency and environmentally sustainable grass cutting. IoT-based solar-powered grass cutter effectively tackles the environmental issues associated with traditional grass cutting methods. By harnessing renewable energy, incorporating intelligent technology for automation and remote control, and ensuring minimal emissions and noise, these cutting-edge machines emerge as a prominent and sustainable solution for maintaining green spaces in diverse settings.
