THE NECESSITY FOR INVESTMENT OF ADVANCED EXPERIENCE IN THE APPLICATION OF INDIRECT TAXES IN THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

The role of taxes is special in the financial system of every country, because they, reflecting the degree of coordination of relations between the population, economic entities and the state, are the main tool for ensuring the stability of the country and concentrating the financial resources necessary for the implementation of state functions. In turn, the tax burden, depending on the state and a number of internal functions performed there, is distributed among different types of taxes, which are classified as direct and indirect taxes. In countries with a transition economy, such as the Republic of Armenia (RA), the main guarantors of the aforementioned stability are indirect taxes. Within the framework of the study carried out in this work, in order to understand, in general, what kind of indirect taxation systems are used in Armenia, it is necessary to analyze the relevant jurisdictions of the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia. The development of the RA tax system is considered in the course of regular reforms in the republic, and internationally guaranteed principles are introduced in that direction. Therefore, in this work, an attempt was made to assess the possibilities of applying the advanced practice of indirect taxation in RA.
