Soliton reconnection and hybrid soliton solution of the B-Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation
In this study, we explore the fully resonant three-soliton solutions of the B-Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (BKP) equation using the Hirota bilinear method. By taking the limit as [Formula: see text] approaches zero or [Formula: see text], we derive both weak and strong fully resonant three-soliton solutions. The resonant solitons appear as five soliton arms in both cases, exhibiting intriguing phenomena such as soliton fission during temporal evolution. Additionally, we construct hybrid four-soliton solutions arising from resonance. This research significantly deepens the understanding of soliton dynamics and their properties.
