Comparative Analysis of Secukinumab and Guselkumab in the Treatment of Plaque Psoriasis
Plaque psoriasis is an inflammatory, chronic skin condition characterized by red, scaly plaques. Further research in immunology led to the development of biologic treatments such as Secukinumab and Guselkumab. The treatments target, specifically, components of the immune system implicated in the pathophysiology of psoriasis. This study treats plaque psoriasis and compares Secukinumab vs. Guselkumab in the treatment of the disease, outlining their similarities and differences.
