Analysis of the International Cooperation developed with African Public Universities: a comparative case study of experiences from the ULL and the UniCV
International Cooperation is a fundamental tool for the improvement of societies and their achievement of goals for social, economic, and cultural expansion. For such reasons, this paperwork analyses the international cooperation developed with the public African universities throughout the comparative case study of the cooperation developed between the ULL (University of La Laguna) and the UniCV (University of Cape Verde). A comparative case study focusing on the experiences, and perspectives of their agents (Lecturers, and staff of management, administration, and services) to know its strengths and weaknesses, and so to make possible the improvement of its practices and development, so its impact on societies and communities, and the role universities play. The obtained data, and the achieved results found in relation to all the variables taken into consideration, present notable differences related to their professional background, their experience, and years of dedication. Which also clarify the required corrections to put into practice an international cooperation most effective and with a successful impact on reducing poverty, increasing education, and minimizing inequalities. In this way it is possible to maximize opportunities and to have a better world, where everyone can have a responsible and productive role.
