CONSTITUTIONAL SAFEGUARDING OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS OF CITIZENS IN AZERBAIJAN

This article analyzes ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the main directions of the policy implemented during the rule of Heydar Aliyev, as well as the human rights and freedoms policy continued by President Ilham Aliyev. The article examines key changes in Azerbaijan's legal system, legislative reforms, the application of international human rights standards in the country, and steps taken to protect the fundamental rights of citizens. Additionally, the article provides detailed information about Azerbaijan's achievements in the field of human rights protection and the development of legal guarantees.
