DIGITAL TRANSPORT COMPANY MONITORING: CONCEPTUALIZATION AND MODEL DEVELOPMENT

Digitalization is becoming an important trend in logistics, ensuring process transparency and determining the efficiency of business management. At the same time, digital products are usually developed for large companies, taking scale and volume as a constant, and are rarely suitable for small businesses that play a key role in the supply chain “at the last kilometer”. The purpose of this article is to describe the conceptual framework and present a practical model developed on its basis, which allows to increase the efficiency of fleet monitoring, optimize routes, improve inventory management taking into account the needs of small businesses. The methodological framework of the study is the concept of digital management, which, when applied to motor transport enterprises, opens up opportunities for creating logistics systems for managing flow processes based on IoT technology, real-time data analysis and automated solutions. The main practical result of the work is a model of digital fleet monitoring, which is currently being tested in the motor transport company OOO TakhoGroup (Yekaterinburg) and can be used in the management of small and medium enterprises.
