THE PROBLEM OF CHOOSING QUALITY OF LIFE INDICATORS AND APPROACHES TO THEIR IDENTIFICATION

The relevance of the research topic is determined by the importance of assessing the quality of life as the main indicator of economic development. Formation of a list of indicators for adequate assessment of the quality of life and its indicators expands the possibilities of forecasting the development of socio-economic trends and forming strategies aimed at improving the quality of life. Growing internal economic problems, the growth in the number of workers with wages below the minimum wage, ineffective scientific and educational infrastructure, the inaccessibility of some types of services for the majority of the population determine the importance for Russia to focus on the issue of quality of life as one of the strategic vectors for resolving systemic socio-economic problems.
