The Relationship Between Personality Type and Job Satisfaction of Physiotherapists in the City of Bandung

Job satisfaction is an essential component that affects the performance and productivity of health workers, including physiotherapists. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between personality traits and job satisfaction of physiotherapists in Bandung. This study used a correlational quantitative method with a sample of sixty-eight physiotherapists selected using the Cochran formula. Data collection was carried out by distributing the Big Five Inventory (BFI) adaptation questionnaire to measure personality traits and modified job satisfaction. The regression analysis results showed no significant relationship between personality traits and job satisfaction among physiotherapists in the city of Bandung. These findings help us understand that personality type is not the only factor influencing physiotherapists’ job satisfaction. Keywords: Personality traits, Job satisfaction, Physiotherapist.
