A new species of hybotid dance fly of the genus Eodromyia (Diptera: Hybotidae, Tachydromiinae) from the late Eocene Rovno amber
A new species of hybotid dance fly of the genus Eodromyia Myskowiak, Garrouste & Nel (Diptera: Hybotidae, Tachydromiinae) is described and illustrated from the bio-inclusions of the late Eocene Rovno amber (Ukraine): Eodromyia rovnoensis sp. nov. This genus was earlier known after a single species from the lowermost Eocene Oise amber in France. Eodromyia is the first plant or animal genus known only from Rovno and Oise ambers.
