Երգչական ձայնի զարգացման հիմնախնդիրը երաժշտական կրթական հաստատություններում / The Problem of the Development of the Singing Voice in Musical Educational Institutions
The article examines the problem of the development of the singing voice in musical educational institutions. It argues that Armenian music, as a cultural phenomenon, originated in the 2nd millennium BCE. It stems from profound and ancient sources, including ritualistic music and melodic songs that most effectively reflect the public perception, mindset, and life of the Armenian national community. In other words, music has accompanied the Armenian people from the beginning of their formation to the present day, serving as a vital means of expressing and preserving their national identity. Alongside the development of the Armenian language, the foundation of its musical language was also established. The above provides grounds to assert that the issue of developing the singing voice in Armenia has a long-standing history. Since the 5th century, music has been a compulsory subject in Armenian schools and was also taught in prestigious schools and universities, such as Gladzor, Tatev, Sis, Kapos and others. It is noted that in the context of large-scale educational reforms and the introduction of new standards, the issue of developing and maintaining students' singing voices has become particularly relevant in contemporary musical educational institutions. To address this issue, we propose including a series of methods and approaches for voice processing, development, and maintenance in the curricula of professional subjects, as outlined in the article.
