Reproducibility related to machine learning assisted measurements

Reproducibility is a core concept of the scientific method. This challenge is faced in both the fields of measurement science and data science under different modalities. The scientific communities related to these fields intersect on the topics related to the improvement of measurement systems with machine learning based algorithms. We explore this concept within this multidisciplinary field and show, in this paper, the challenges associated with reproducing experiments.

Abstract

Reproducibility is a core concept of the scientific method. This challenge is faced in both the fields of measurement science and data science under different modalities. The scientific communities related to these fields intersect on the topics related to the improvement of measurement systems with machine learning based algorithms. We explore this concept within this multidisciplinary field and show, in this paper, the challenges associated with reproducing experiments.
