An Analysis of the Hydrogen and Electricity Production Scheme Using Gas Waste from Oil Refineries
The cost of natural gas and hydrogen produced by various methods is analyzed along with assessing carbon dioxide emissions. The hydrogen production scheme based on using gas waste from oil refining processes is presented, and the net cost of hydrogen production is estimated based on the calculated total cost values. An economic analysis of the project for implementing the presented scheme at various costs for greenhouse gas emissions is carried out with determining the net present value (NPV), project payback period, and profitability index (PI).
