Tas13D inhibits the growth of non-small cell lung cancer cells by regulating EGFR
Tas13D, a taspine derivative specifically designed to target the EGFR pathway, a key driver of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), has demonstrated significant efficacy in vitro by inhibiting the viability of A549 lung cancer cells, promoting apoptosis, and reducing EGFR phosphorylation. In vivo studies in mice demonstrated that Tas13D effectively reduced tumor size and enhanced apoptosis, indicating its promising therapeutic potential for NSCLC. However, further research is necessary to investigate potential resistance mechanisms within the tumor microenvironment to optimize its clinical application.
