ECONOMIC METHODOLOGY IN LAST TWENTY YEARS (2000-2020): AT CROSSROADS OF OPINIONS

In 2021 on pages of a journal “Journal of Economic Methodology” was discussion which has a task to discuss all achievements of economic metho-dology and philosophy of economics for last 20 years during 2000-2020. We have different points of views of U. Mäki, D. Hausman, F. Guala. S. Dow, M. Boumans, A. Lehtinen and others. As a result, their opinion is the next points: (1) a contemporary research in the sphere of economic methodology and philosophy of economics is a result “high-order reflection” that is characterized with “criticism” and typically aiming to canonize an emerging practice guided by those principles as good practice; (2) “normative revolution” is going in economics; (3) contemporary period of economic sciences is characterized with “empirical turn” - appeal to experimental economics, behavioral economics, neuroeconomics; (4) interdisciplinary investigations broadly introduce into practice of economics; these investigations realize in joints of economics and sociology, economics and physiology, economics and physics, etc. But in this discussion was absent the position of Russian economists which, probably, can formulate their own position on some questions, - including heuristic potential of concept “philosophy of economy”, interpreted in substantial sense as “philosophical problems of economy”.
